Donation - love of reading!
Duck Duck Books was founded in November of 2021 by Lavender Chen, a passionate reader as a child who hopes to turn her love for creating into something that can help engage more children in reading. Duck Duck Books is made up of a group of eager high school students looking to put their creative skills to great use. Duck Duck Books has a mission of writing children’s books that teach valuable lessons, providing free books to those who may not have access to them, and allowing creators to do what they love, create!
Duck Duck Books will be providing creative story times local children in an effort to spread a love for creating.
Duck Duck Books and Jezuba are collaborating to raise money to donate their first book The Ugly Dumplings to children in underserved communities. Your funds will enable young social entrepreneurs to spread the joy of reading and creating.
Jezuba (www.jezuba.org) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we are fully operated by volunteer staff as well as interns ranging from high school students, college students, and recent graduates working on meaningful projects. Our ultimate goal is to empower Gen-Z to tackle tough issues such as poverty and social justice through community-based entrepreneurship.
All donations are fully tax deductible, and we will provide a receipt for your donation record. Thank you for your support!
