Introducing "The Ugly Dumplings"

Celebrating the publication of our first book The Ugly Dumplings, Duck Duck Books and Jezuba are hosting a community event on Sunday March 12, 2023 at Village Square Branch Library (Community Room) in San Jose, CA from 10AM to 2:30PM.
The Ugly Dumplings is a children's book written, illustrated and published by local high school students of Duck Duck Books. During this event, participants take part in instruction-led hands-on dumpling making and art activities. We will also have reading time throughout the day. Open to the community at no cost, space is limited, so reserve a spot today {here}. We look forward to seeing you!!
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.
Food served is vegetarian but may contain nuts and wheat products.

Jezuba (www.jezuba.org) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we are fully operated by volunteer staff as well as interns ranging from high school students, college students, and recent graduates working on meaningful projects. Our ultimate goal is to empower Gen-Z to tackle tough issues such as poverty through community-based entrepreneurship. Your donation will allow us to provide Solar LED Lamps for school children in off-grid communities in rural Myanmar.
