2020 not only changed our lives dramatically, it also highlighted our vulnerabilities to systemic racial and social inequality. Leveraging our privilege, we must pay it forward to ensure diversity and inclusion for future generations. While a college education benefits all young people, for first-generation students and those from underserved communities, it is often a game changer. These students may require extra support in order to launch a strong career as they leave universities with their diplomas. Meaningful internships with organizations like Jezuba will give them both the confidence and the skills to launch successful careers. They will also give them practical experience they can discuss in detail during job interviews.
Jezuba’s goal for 2021 is to set up three paid internships specifically targeting first-generation college students on financial aid. Each internship will include a $500 stipend for the intern and $2,000 to kick start their charity initiative. We need your support and financial contribution to make this goal a reality.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are fully tax deductible, and we will provide a receipt for your donation record. Four ways to donate:
1) Mail check to: Jezuba 250 Montecito Ave, #301, Oakland, CA 94610
2) Send funds via Zelle to [email protected]
3) Corporate Matching Donations
4) Donate via online
